We are licensed and insured and hold a Class A Contractors License from the State of Virginia and a Limited Master Electricians License in Anne Arundel County, Montgomery County, Baltimore County, Prince George’s County and Howard County in Maryland. Our service area includes the metropolitan areas of Washington DC, Northern Virginia and Baltimore, Maryland.

Terry Stuit – President and CEO

Terry Stuit is the founder of BTC, and he has over 40 years of experience in the telecom industry. Terry is the driving force behind BTC’s growth. He is known for his ability to assess needs quickly and design efficient solutions, plus his commitment to customer satisfaction.
Terry entered the Telecommunications industry in 1982, and has experienced all aspects of the Industry from, working in sales and installations of small business systems, to managing global network build outs, and founding, building & selling his own companies.

Craig Smebakken – Director of Business Development

Here at BTC Craig specializes in infrastructure sales and business development . His telecom experience spans 40+ years in commercial markets as well as federal, state and local government markets. Along with sales, Craig’s experiences also include installation and maintenance of phone systems, cabling infrastructure design and data network implementation. Craig has been a technician, team supervisor, project manager and program manager for major companies in the DC area.

Chuck Mazaris – Executive Vice President

Chuck Mazaris is the Executive VP of Operations and Marketing for BTC. Chuck has been in the industry 40+ years working in commercial markets as well as federal, state and local government markets. Chuck’s background encompasses installation and maintenance of phone systems, cabling infrastructure design and data network implementation. Chuck started with GTE as a technician and worked his way into owning his own companies and developing markets throughout the DC area.

Matt Stuit – Director of Operations

Matt Stuit started his telecommunications career in 2008 as a technician here at BTC. As a lead technician and project manager, Matt has been at the controls of some of our largest, most successful projects and has constantly excelled when given extra responsibility. In 2019, Matt moved into the role of Director of Operations, taking over our day-to-day project operations as well as fervently looking for ways to improve our processes, helping BTC to continue to excel and add value to our loyal customers.
